Recent findings from the field of neuroscience will be explored to broaden parents’ ability to understand the brain reasons for their child’s behaviors as the foundation for creating optimal growth and development. Participants will learn and practice proven strategies for developing the mind, brain and relationships as a means of preventing challenging behavior by promoting integration and well-being.

Some common parenting practices will be explored through the lens of current research to help participants update some of their perceptions, beliefs, and actions in regard to children’s behavior and learning. As a result of this training, parents will have the tools to parent based on science, not habits and be able to see the child behind the behavior. This training can be tailored for parents of children from Pre-K through Grade 12 and can be stand alone, or a series.
